Lily's first streetcar ride

Lily loved her first streetcar ride downtown. The weather was perfect and she just loved feeling the breeze in her hair (or few little hairs that she has)

Are we there yet?

This breeze feels great!

We made it to our destination...Canal street ( "end of the line"). We had a yummy dinner at Maspero's and even a holiday drink. Lily did great. She tried to sleep on the way home but the lights kept coming on in the streetcar waking her up.

Isn't she cute with the little baby hairs blowing in the breeze?

" I want to live here someday Daddy!"
Start saving now.

Here are Lily and Daddy waiting on the streetcar down in our old stomping ground (the riverbend). How we miss you Camilia Grill!

Christmas morning!

We had such a great Christmas. The best ever! Especially considering Lily got sick with bronchiolitis the Monday before Christmas day (she was getting breathing treatments up until yesterday) and Daddy got sick on Christmas Eve. Lily racked up with gifts. Daddy got a seat for the back of his bike and Lily is showing off her new helmet. We can't wait to take her for a ride. How about the helmet and tutu combination? Mommy is silly sometimes. Anything for a laugh. We went to Aunt Stefani's new condo for Christmas morning and it was so nice. What a pleasure family is this time of year. I have never flet more blessed.

Santa visits Jackson!

Santa came to visit my Aunt Janet's house in Jackson, MS. Hre are some pictures with her and and Santa, aunt Stef and I, and our cousin Shelby getting some special time with the man in red before Christmas.

A visit to Hattiesburg

We visited with my parents and then went to Jackson the weekend before Christmas. These are pictures of Lily dressed in her Christmas dress before the drive to Jackson. Mom's house looked so pretty and there were so many presents under the tree for her first grandchild.

Chritsmastime in City Park

This is her halfway through the park. Needless to say, this year was a run through and we did not get to see or enjoy as much as the past few years. Hopefully next year she will be more awake and appreciate the lights more.

In front of Storyland before we entered the park.
We were so looking foward to taking Lily to Christmas in the Oaks this year. It is something I never miss and having a baby with us made it more beautiful. It also made it more hurried, distracting, and more complicated. We did enjoy it but but I think it was too late in the night for her and she just waned to sleep. However we left the stroller in the car thinking she would enjoy the carrier more. At least her cousin loved it and it was great hanging out with my brother and sister, Dominic and tiffany and their kids, and our friend Becky.

Our cute little girl

She will probably kill me when she grows up for taking these. I bought this bib and hat let last year when I was pregnant. How cute is out little elf!

Visiting with her Godfather and out good friend Rodney the weekend before Christmas

Playing in her jumper that GiGi gave her as an early Christmas present.
Sorry we have been out of touch for awhile. This time of year is always busy for everyone but it was especially busy for me this year. I did manage to capture the holiday get-togethers on camera but did not have time to upload the pictures. I will catch you up with the next few entries.

More snow pictures and around the house pics..

Here are some "staged" pictures I took outside. She was being so good to sit in this for a few minutes.

Lily sitting up in her high chair. It was so nice to eat the yummy dinner daddy made without one of us having to hold her. She was good all the way through dessert.

Decorating her first Christmas tree with Daddy. When we are both home she just has to be held.

Snow Angel

It is snowing in Metairie, LA! I just had to dress Liy up in her Christmas pj's and take some pictures. It is still falling and acumulating so I may take some more later. We could not stay outside long b/c as you can see, it was so cold. That is why she is not smiling.
