What a fun day Saturday was at Lafaniere Park. It was out niece Sarah's 3rd birthday. There were a lot of kids and such a nice day. The birthday girl on the carousal.

I just had to dress Lily up on this day. We had this shirt for the 4th of July but she was born too late to wear it..It is tight on her now.

6 months old!

I can't believe she is 6 months already. How time flies! I wanted to take a whole photo session with some of her cute new clothes but we had a little misshap during the session which ended with a bruise on her forehead. I will claim responsibility. She is so quick and the chair was too high. I will let her get over her fear of heights and resume next week. BTW, that hat is so cute. I ordered two hats from http://www.fabowlous.com/ and they are adorable. I recommend this site to anyone with a baby girl. Wait until you see the next one. Mommy will just have to be more careful and quicker on her feet.

So, anyway she had her 6-month appointment and she did well. The shots were not fun and she has learned to spit out medicines (starting with the rotavirus vaccine). She still needs to gain some more weight (never know it from looking a those cheeks) so we are up to three meals/day of baby food. She loves everything but the rice ceareal. We are also struggleing to get her to take formula. What a picky eater (must get that from mommy). More pics to come soon.

Happy New Year! We went to our friend Becky's house for New Year's Eve but we were home by 11:00 pm, which is pretty late for a baby. She had a good time and got to show off her new party dress. Don't worry, Misty we are sending you a picture. Thanks so much for such a pretty gift. She did not drink any wine but sure was interested in holding mommy's glass. Thank you Becky for a great party. We had a lot of fun. Hope everyone's New Year was wonderful.
