About Us

Metairie, LA, United States
Kerry is a network administrator, new dad, and creator of the blog. I (Kelly) am a pediatric nurse and new mom. We have been married for three years and live in New Orleans, LA--the greatest city in the world. Actually we just moved to Metairie, but still think NO is the greatest city in the world. Mostly, this blog is about our new daughter, Lillian Grace Godbold or as we call her, Lily. She is our angel.

Happy 1st birthday Bradley!

The newest Godbold: baby Roman. This is cousin Natalie and Darren's little sweetie. he is just 4 weeks old. Technically, Darren's sister, Lauren Godbold Self has the newest Godbold, born two weeks ago and named Abbie Grace Self, but they live in Dallas, so no pics of her. Congrats Darren, Natalie, Lauren and Tyler!

Cat-in-the Hat Party. That is his little cake. The big cake was so cute but I forgot to get a picture.

Birthday boy!

With cousin Ellie

Our nephew Bradley turned ONE! What a fun party. Lily slept like a rock when we got home.

NIght out on the town

This was at Fritzel's jazz club on Bourbon, I had never been in here but I could have stayed all night. Their jazz band is awesome, we even bought the CD.

We took the Haunted history tour and this is the famous LaLaurie Mansion, where unspeakable horrors happened long ago. Now it is Nick Cage's hangout. Interesting... Sorry, I did not get any pics of ghost. We took other pics of houses but I do know remember their stories, could have been the daiquiri.

This was our room. Sweet Kerry brought wine and roses for the room the day before and the housekeeping must have thought it was our honeymoon or something. Guess it kind of was, as it was our first overnight trip without Lily. She was safe at home, 15 miles away.

Two weeks ago we got a room in the French Quarter and had a night out, thanks to mom for babysitting. It was so fun. Can't wait to enjoy our city again.

Lily and GiGi doll

Palm reader says: "you will have a long and prosperous life, as long as Louie doesn't get a hold of you".

I know these are springtime looking pictures but I had to get some of her and her matching GiGi doll before she out grows her dress. Anyway, the weather here is back to a springtime feel. Apparently, the last pictures I posted were taken on the second and last day of fall.
