About Us

Metairie, LA, United States
Kerry is a network administrator, new dad, and creator of the blog. I (Kelly) am a pediatric nurse and new mom. We have been married for three years and live in New Orleans, LA--the greatest city in the world. Actually we just moved to Metairie, but still think NO is the greatest city in the world. Mostly, this blog is about our new daughter, Lillian Grace Godbold or as we call her, Lily. She is our angel.

Mardi Gras in Metiarie

After the quarter, we headed to Metairie and caught the truck parade. Louie and I stayed back from the action but Lily and daddy caught a lot. What a fun day. BTW, thanks to Celeste, Kerry and I were able to enjoy a parade uptown Monday night. I hate I forgot the camera. Orpheus was beautiful and it was nice to have some grown-up time.

Fat Tuesday in the Quarter

We went to the Quarter this morning and saw some great costumes. Louie was so good. Nothing phased him. He even walked down Bourbon Street. What a beautiful morning. Happy Mardi Gras!

Visit with Memaw and bead girl

Kerry's Grandmother came in for her birthday. It was great for Lily to see her Great Grand-mother. Happy Birthday MeMaw!

Super Bowl Sunday

We wanted to watch the game in the Quarter, but ended up driving back to Hattiesburg to pick up Lily. Thanks mom and dad for giving us a night on the town on Saturday. The king cake is from Randazzo's and was at our friend Celeste's house. How about that Saint's flag outside the Cathedral?

Barkus 2010

Here are some pics from the Barkus parade--Super Bowl Sunday. Can you guess the theme this year?
