Kerry is a network administrator, new dad, and creator of the blog. I (Kelly) am a pediatric nurse and new mom. We have been married for three years and live in New Orleans, LA--the greatest city in the world. Actually we just moved to Metairie, but still think NO is the greatest city in the world. Mostly, this blog is about our new daughter, Lillian Grace Godbold or as we call her, Lily. She is our angel.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Dominic, Kerry and the newest family additions, Bradley and Lily.
Grandmare and some of her bunch.
Mema with some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

LIly on the Beach

Lily was so cute on the beach. Daddy dug out a little "seat" for her so mommy could snap pictures. Next year she may actually know what to do with the beach toys GiGi got her.

Grandpa loved walking with her in the surf. I thought this was cute of the two of them.

Lily loves her Daddy!

Destin Pictures

Daddy, Uncle Kevin, and Lily at the Vollage at Baytown Warf. A cute shopping, dining place we visited in Destin.

Looking cute there Lily!

Sleeping in Mommy and Daddy's bed at our beach house. A great place for afternoon naps.

We visited Destin this past weekend with the grandparents and uncle Kevin. We stayed at this cute beach house called "Sunny Delight" on Santa Rosa Beach. It was relaxing and nice to get out of town before Thanksgiving. More pics to come.

Fun at the Aquarium

Our good friend Wendy came to visit this past weekend and brought her adorable son Dylan. He is so active. Here were are on the Riverwalk after an adventurous trip to the aquaruim.

I tried to get some shots of him playing. He is so cute and enjoyed running around so much but I never realized how hard it is to photograph a 15-month-old on the run. Congrats to you, Tiffany for being so successful at it. Your job is not easy!

He loved the stairs here more than the fish.

Lily and mommy. I took her out of the stroller to get a picture with her and she did not want to go back in. Next time we do this at the end.

A picture in the rainforest.

Cute Lily...

Well, the cereal did not go so well. I guess she is not ready. We managed to get some in her mouth but most ended up on the bib or Daddy's hand. The last picture is the cutest pair of socks our friend Becky brought her from the Jelly Bean factory in CA. She just returned from her travel nurse assignment. We missed you Becky and are glad you are home. I will get some pics of you with Lily next time.

She is 4 months!

"Someone help me---mommy is making me take stupid pictures and I have no interest in this phone" She kept dropping it but I wanted a picture of her with it.

We took her to the St. Beneilde fair last night. She rode her first ride. She didn't scream so we assume she didn't hate it but she probably didn't appreciate the ride either. Can you belive they charged her for a ticket as well as Daddy? At least the money went to a good cause.

Lily is now 4 months old. We had our check up today. The shots were no fun for her but luckily mommy remembered the magic cream and gave her tylenol before. She is sleeping comfortably in her swing now. She has to start taking rice cereal b/c her weight was a little below normal. No doubt b/c she gives Daddy such a hard time taking bottles when mommy works. We will see how she does. I really wanted to hold out until 6 months before the cereal but I trust our doctor. We will get some pictures of it.

Go Hornets!

Lily was decked out for the last Hornet's game. Too bad it did not bring them good luck. Maybe next time. Isn't she cute when she gets mad?

A beautiful day...

It has been so pretty outside lately. Daddy got Lily this swing to hang in our backyard. We think she likes it. She doesn't cry at least and fell asleep in it this weekend. We just don't have any shade because the branches are so high. We do have sun hats though.

the Pet Fest

Lily and her Grandpa. She was tired out

Toby, GiGi's dog, got tired of walking so he borrowed Lily's stroller. He was so good. That is Kerry pushing him. How funny!

There was a kissing booth and the money went towards one of the adoption centers.

Our little peanut was tired out from the begining.

What a beautiful day Sunday was. GiGi and Grandpa were in town with Toby. We went to the Petfest in Laffinere park. We wanted to adopt a dog so bad but we are waiting until Lily gets a little older. I don't think we will be able to hold out for long though. There were over 300 dogs there from different shelters lookong for rescuers. It was packed with people and their dogs.

Happy Halloween!

Hello everyone! Hope everyone's Halloween went well. Our little cutie was a mermaid, as you can see. We had fun trick-or-treating with her cousins Bradley and Sarah, although Sarah was the only one old enough for candy. We had hardley any trick-or-treators though. Guess everyone was doing their own thing. Here are a few shots of Lily in her first halloween costume.
