About Us

Metairie, LA, United States
Kerry is a network administrator, new dad, and creator of the blog. I (Kelly) am a pediatric nurse and new mom. We have been married for three years and live in New Orleans, LA--the greatest city in the world. Actually we just moved to Metairie, but still think NO is the greatest city in the world. Mostly, this blog is about our new daughter, Lillian Grace Godbold or as we call her, Lily. She is our angel.

Rainey day.

It has been raining for almost 24 hours non-stop. My neighbor's back yard is completely under water. Luckily, all we got were some large puddles in our yard. I let Lily play out in the yard in the puddles for the first time. What do labs and toddler's have in common? Splashing around in the water! They had a blast as I am sure the pics will show. Don't worry about it being December. It wasn't too cold and I had her in a warm bath right after the kneeling in the water picture.

Pics around the house

These Gerber graduates have always ben a favorite of Lily's. The other day I say her pulling each one out of the cabinet and placing on the ground with her. It was breakfast time, too. "Not so much eggnog in my bottle next time, mom"

CHristmas in the park

We went to the park down the street from us last week with uncle Kevin and Louie. Here are some Christmas light shots and one really cute hat on a little girl.

Lafreniere pictures

We went to the park yesterday before the big rain and took pics of Lily and Louie for Christmas cards. They were both so cooperative, even though Louie took a flying leap into the water after a couple of minutes off the leash. It was funny. I wish I would have taken pics of that. He couldn't get out of the water without help. I don't think he expected it to be over his head. I wanted to let Lily out to walk with the ducks she loved feeding, but it was so muddy and she was so dressed up. I think it went really well. Here are a few of the shots that won't make the Christmas card.

Christmas in the Oaks

Sunday night we took Lily to Christmas in the Oaks. She enjoyed it much better than last time, when she was strapped in the Baby Bjorn.

Thanksgiving at Dominic's

Sara and Genevieve

Cute Bradley

After we had lunch at my mom's we headed back home to go to Dominic and Tiffany's new home to join the bunch. Lily liked being the center of attention in MS but she loved all the kids at their house. The numbers keep growing. Go Godbold's!

Thanksgiving and GiGi and Grandpa's

We spent the first part of Thanksgiving with my parents. It was Louie's first trip to Hattiesburg. The ride with him went great. However, he did nothing but pace the house all night. It was great to have everyone there, including Kevin's new girlfriend, Jennifer. We loved meeting her.
